Community Guidelines

TrialTracing is designed for serious discussion of difficult cases. Community participation must remain evidence-aware and respectful.

Do

  • Cite sources and distinguish verified records from claims or theories.
  • Correct material mistakes when reliable information changes.
  • Discuss people respectfully, including victims, families, witnesses, attorneys, judges, investigators, and other users.
  • Use reporting tools for content that may violate these guidelines.

Do not

  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or organize abuse against another person.
  • Publish private identifying information that creates an unreasonable safety or privacy risk.
  • Impersonate another person or organization.
  • Spam, manipulate engagement, or deliberately misrepresent sources.
  • Present speculation as a judicial finding or established fact.
  • Upload copyrighted material without authorization or a lawful basis.

Enforcement

Moderators and administrators may hide content, restrict public visibility, suspend accounts, or block access depending on severity and available evidence.
